  • Eligibility:
    Passed the Malaysian High School Certificate (STPM) with a full pass in 2 subjects or equivalent NGMP minimum 2.0 and pass the Certificate of Education (SPM) or equivalent with credit in Mathematics; or
    Pass Matriculation Program or Basic Program from PPT recognized by Government of Malaysia with CGPA 2.0 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or equivalent; or
    Passed A-Level with at least a pass in 2 subjects including credit in Mathematics at SPM or equivalent; or
    Passed the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least B grade in 5 subjects including Mathematics and English; or
    Pass Diploma (Level 4, Malaysian Qualifications Framework (KKM) in Computing or equivalent to getting a minimum CGPA of 2.5; or
    candidates who earn CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 are acceptable subject to strict internal assessment process; Pass Diploma (Level 4, MOH) in addition to Computing area with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level, or
    Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia
  • Goal:
    This course aims to the fundamentals of conceptual, methodological and implementation issues of IT-related research. This course is both highly technical and people-orientated. As well as its scientic and technical focus on areas related to software, network, web, database and internet services, areas such as management, communications and human behavior are also covered. The student through this course will gain in-depth knowledge and be prepared for leadership in the information technology profession. In addition, graduates will display eective communication skills, independence and creativity, critical judgment and ethical and social understanding.
  • Scope:
    The program aims to give knowledge with depth and accuracy of the impact of information technology within an organization, with society at large, and a detailed appreciation of the impact of information technology on the global scale. The students are taught to achieve their academic goals by engaging in scholarly activities related to economic development of the region through partnerships with industry, inventors, and entrepreneurs. The objective is to apply the knowledge to help the society to develop in a positive way.
