  • Eligibility:
    I. Bachelor's Degree (Level 6, MOH) in Medical Ultrasound or other fields related to the program with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent as accepted by the HEP Senate; or

    II. Bachelor's Degree (Level 6, MOH) or equivalent in Medical Ultrasound or other related fields not achieving a CGPA of 2.50 may be admitted subject to 5 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Goal:
    The Master in medical ultrasound program is designed to develop professional competencies by integrating high level clinical skills, theoretical knowledge. The Masters course focuses on clinical sectional anatomy, ultrasound of abdomen and pelvic organs,echo cardiography, clinical sonography and completes with an advanced case studies practicum.

    This program equipped students with intensive training in both the theoretical basis of medical ultrasound along with scanning and diagnostic skills. After completing this course student can move into administration, private industry, research, teaching or a highly specialized ultrasound technology field.
  • Scope:
    The aim of Master in Medical Ultrasound program is to develop ultra sonographers who can respond to the dynamic needs of the profession, the health service and its users. The Master in Medical Ultrasound program shall produce Sonographers who are:

    Knowledgeable and competent in performing medical ultrasound procedures.

    Efficient in multilevel communication skills and demonstrate good leadership qualities as well as having the ability to work as a team.

    Capable in problem solving through scientific skills with great values, attitudes and professional ethics.

    Able to practice social skills and responsibilities in community through effective information management and recognize the need of lifelong learning through high impact research and publication.
